Multan Sultans will take on Quetta Gladiators in match 25 of PSL 2021 on Wednesday night in Abu Dhabi.
Multan Sultans, currently placed 4th on the points table, have recently found some form after thumping Peshawar Zalmi by 8 wickets in their previous outing. The skipper, Mohammad Rizwan, has been in scintillating form with the bat, having scored 408 runs in the edition, so far, at an average of 68. On the bowling front, Shahnawaz Dahani has been incredibly impressive and has scalped 13 preys in 6 matches. These two starring players have been well supported by the likes of Sohaib Maqsood, Rilee Rossouw, Imran Tahir among others and will be eager to triumph against Quetta and propel Multan higher into the top four.
Quetta Gladiators, on the other hand, handed a shocking upset defeat to Lahore Qalandars yesterday to remain in contention. They have two matches left in the bank and they have to win both of them and then hope for other results to be in their favour in order to have a shot at qualification for the play-offs. Despite the absence of their overseas duo of Faf du Plessis and Andre Russell, the Sarfraz Ahmed-led Gladiators managed to overall the in-form Qalandars. With their campaign on the line, the Men in Purple will turn up with an all-guns-blazing approach and will not bow down without giving a fight.

Pitch Report and Weather Conditions
Despite known for its sluggish pitches, no pattern has emerged in Abu Dhabi as far as the 2nd leg of PSL 2021 is concerned. A glimpse at recent results suggests that the mercurialness of the tracks on offer is a factor to consider. While teams have managed to chase down totals in excess of 190 runs, there have been instances where totals in the vicinity of 150 have been difficult to chase down. Both captains are, however, still likely to prefer chasing in these conditions with the dew factor becoming much more prominent later in the night. As far as the weather conditions are concerned, temperatures are usually high during daytime and begin to fall to lower 30s (degrees Celsius) in night.
